They are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Engineer Supervisor to join their team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal, welding, and fabrication, and will be capable of leading by example both on the shop floor and in a supervisory capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the day-to-day operations of the workshop and production staff
Provide hands-on support with welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work
Monitor and ensure work is completed to high quality standards and within set deadlines
Compile accurate and competitive quotations based on technical requirements
Identify and resolve production and technical issues efficiently
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring all health & safety protocols are followed

Requirements:

Proven experience in sheet metal, welding, and fabrication (desirable)
Formal qualifications in engineering, welding, or fabrication (preferred but not essential)
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident problem-solver with a practical and solution-focused approach
Competent in preparing quotes and understanding job specifications
Able to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
