Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team in Newmarket. As an integral part of our organisation, you will be responsible for various electrical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a permanent position offering competitive compensation and a range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct general property maintenance and installation work.
Perform testing, inspection, and certification of distribution boards and fixed wiring installations.
Carry out electrical installations on 3 phase & single-phase equipment and modify as required.
Demonstrate proficiency in LED lighting installations.
Execute repairs and corrective works on internal & external wiring systems.
Possess knowledge of leading & trailing edge dimming systems.
Maintain and install emergency lighting systems.
Perform wiring fault diagnostics.
Familiarity with plant room electrical services, including motors, pumps, FCU, etc.
Ability to interpret site plans and schematic drawings.
Supervise and coordinate specialist contractors.
Maintain regular communication with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure efficient service delivery.
Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health & safety.
Undertake any other duties as required.
Experience:
Possess recognized C&G, NVQ qualifications.
BS7671 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification.
Certification in Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations or equivalent.
Experience with motors & star delta systems.
Hold a full clean UK driving license.
Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
