Do you want to join an exciting growing FMCG company, within a brand new role as Site/Facilities Coordinator?

You will be the main point of contact for any site facilities, maintenance, health & safety, with a focus on helping supporting minimising unplanned downtime.

You will report to a fantastic Production Manager, with great onboarding and support available at anytime to help ensure you are successful in your new role.

Your job duties will include:
• PSM - Familiar with Process Safety Management, preventative maintenance, risk assessments. Experience required establishing and coordinating a Preventative Maintenance program to ensure minimal downtime within our manufacturing and warehouse.
• Mechanical - Some mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Reliability Proven ability to analyse breakdowns, contact approved contractors to arrange repairs in good time. The ability to determine root cause and develop data driven maintenance PM routines.
• Supervision Liasing with contractors to ensure adherence to onsite Requirements (BRCGS, H&S), ensure necessary paperwork is in place to carry out required works.
• Troubleshooting Assist in troubleshooting. Source and evaluate new equipment or substitute equipment. Approve deviations from standard equipment and parts. Assist in finding emergency replacement parts or equipment.
• Equipment Some experience with Pumps, Seals, Compressors, Centrifuges, and Agitators, including sizing, specifying, installing, and maintaining.
• Electrical Understanding in electrical work.
• CIP/COP Understanding of both Clean In/Out of Place equipment.
• Boilers Understanding of gas boiler systems.
• Soft water System Understanding of soft water system.
• Facilities Management Manage maintenance schedule for site equipment and utilities. Maintain and update maintenance and equipment files.
• Food Industry Experience Familiar with HACCP, BRCGS and GMP practices. Leads shop in food safety practices, addressing audit recommendations, and ensuring maintenance practices do not put food safety at risk.

Education/Experience/Skills:
Required:
• Qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
• Years of Plant Experience (ideal)
• Mechanical and Electrical Experience

Contract:
• Working hours: 08:00 17:00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour break split during the day at managers agreement.
• Full-time permanent role
• 25 days annual leave
• Benefits include Life insurance, Private Medical insurance, Sick pay, Pro rata bonus scheme
• Salary banding is circa £45,000
