Job Title: Night Shift Operative
Location: Needham Market, Suffolk
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join a team at a family-run business that plays a vital role in the food service distribution industry. As a Night Shift Operative help and ensure that the customers receive top service and quality products.

You will be part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing food for hundreds of customers such as schools, care homes, restaurants and many more. Your contributions will make a difference as you work alongside enthusiastic colleagues who take pride in their work!

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
Loading and unloading vehicles
Stock replenishment and management
Manual handling of stock, including heavy lifting
Ensuring stock is rotated effectively
Maintaining general housekeeping in the warehouse
Complying with company and legislative Health & Safety standards

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
Comfortable working in cold conditions, as freezer and chiller work is required
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Valid FLT license (experience is advantageous)
Experience using warehouse management systems WMS (desirable)

The working hours for this role will be night shift, Sunday to Thursday.
Sunday - Midnight to 6am
Monday to Thursday - 9pm to 6am
