Compass Point Recruitment is working with a fantastic privately-owned company, based just outside of Bury St Edmunds, on the recruitment of a Depot Sales Manager.

This is offering the opportunity to lead the sales operations of a well-established business and drive further growth. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the sales department, manage a team of professionals, and collaborate closely with service and hire operations to ensure overall business success.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
•Manage the sales department, setting targets and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals.
•Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team, promoting a positive and productive work culture focused on teamwork and high morale.
•Foster a happy workplace culture, ensuring team motivation and engagement.

Business Development:
•Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with potential clients to drive growth.
•Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay competitive.
•Collaborate with service and hire departments to support cross-functional business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
•Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met and exceeded.
•Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, providing effective solutions.
•Seek out ways to improve the customer experience, ensuring long-term loyalty.
Financial Management:
•Monitor sales performance and prepare weekly revenue reports.
•Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment with overall business financial goals.
•Attend group meetings to review financial performance and provide input into yearly budgeting.
Marketing and Promotion:
•Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that promote products and services.
•Organize and participate in promotional events and trade shows to boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
Experience and Skills Required:
•Stock Control management
•After sales customer services
•Work in partnership with Marketing team, develop & execute marketing plans
•Attendance at Shows and Events throughout the UK
•Knowledge of Dealer Management CRM system

Working Hours:
•Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5pm
•Every other Saturday: 9am - 1pm
