Compass Point Recruitment are actively recruiting on behalf of a fantastic manufacturer based near Thetford, who are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team on a permanent basis and be part of their journey!

Your role will entail:
• Planning, directing, and coordinating company activities to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards across two sites.
• You will be overseeing quality checks, ensuring a right-first-time product, whilst monitoring and reporting on the quality control process, including any shortfall or discrepancies against timescales/budgets.
• You will be responsible for QA team including yearly reviews and appraisals.
• You will perform routine internal audits to ensure that business is operating in accordance with regulations.
• Oversee ISO9001, ISO14001 and FPC Audits
• Timely review of customer Quality Control requirements - ensuring cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements and making recommendations for improvements.
• Accurate documentation for products to always meet contractual requirements.
• Review and approve supplier and customer quality control documentation.
• All appropriate paperwork to support equipment, raw materials and finished products is in place.

You will report into the Business Directors and work within a close-knit small team, in a welcoming, friendly motivated and driven team.

You must be:
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve success
• Have strong attention to detail
• A team player, happy to get stuck in within a hands on' company!
• Experienced team manager
• Happy to travel between two sites on occasions
• Experience within the construction industry
• NEBOSH/Health and safety training/certification.
• IOSH Manager Safety
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, QC or construction environment.
• QA experience and knowledge is essential
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 regulations
• Good Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
• Resilient and reliable
