Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service. This role involves managing supplier relationships, inventory, and logistics while also supporting the development and growth of the supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and analytical approach to supply chain management and a strong focus on team building and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards.
Key Requirements:
• Foodservice Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the foodservice industry is essential. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Excel spreadsheets and other supply chain management software, is required.
• Team Building: A strong willingness to help build, mentor, and develop a team is crucial. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
