We are looking for a committed and industrious Warehouse Operative to join our construction and maintenance facility in Thetford.
We need someone with experience in warehouse operations and a valid FLT license to support a busy team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack items for orders, ensuring all products are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory levels to ensure products are always available.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe always by following company health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- A valid forklift truck (FLT) license is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
